11th INTERNATIONAL SALON OF ARTISTIC PHOTOGRAPHY FOR PHYSICIANS

Rules:
1. Physicians, medical universities’ teachers and medical students from all over the world are allowed to participate. Medical imaging technicians may take part in the "Medical Photography" category only.
2. Themes:
F) FREE THEME (color or monochrome)
P) PORTRAIT (color or monochrome)
MP) MEDICAL PHOTOGRAPHY (color or monochrome)
3. Entries must be done through www.photoartmedica.com website only.
Maximum number of works is four (4) photographs in each category, maximum dimensions 2000 pixels (longer side of the photograph) in 300 dpi JPG compression 7-10. The maximum total size of the photo must not exceed 2 megabytes. Photographs can be made in any technique.
Photographs must be marked by: Theme and ordinal number- First name and Family name of the author-work’s title-Country ISO code in 2 characters. (Country Code ISO2: www.fiap.net/pdf/ISO2-en.pdf, example: GB – United Kingdom). Title of the photo can contain a maximum of 20 characters. Please do not use necessities, such as:. , # (*, etc. Please use English alphabet only.
Example for theme F: F1-Anne Brown-Play-GB , etc.
Example for theme ar: LW1-Anne Brown-Kate-GB , etc.
Example for theme MP: MP1-Anne Brown-Smile-GB , etc.
4. The Jury reserves the right, without agreement with the Participant, to change the competition category of the submitted photograph, if it is recognized that the photograph matches a different thematic category than the one indicated by the Participant.

The Jury's proceedings will be published on the website and facebook of PhotoArtMedica. The winners of the Salon will be notified about the awarded prize by e-mail.

Physicians, Dentists & Medical University Teachers:
One category: 30 Euro/35 USD
Two-three categories: 40 Euro/45 USD,
Medical University Students:
One category: 15 Euro/20 USD
Two-three categories: 20 Euro/25 USD,
The fee can be paid via PayPal (accepting the following cards: VISA, MASTER CARD, AMEX, JCB and DINERS)
10. All participants will receive printed catalogue of the 11th International Salon of Artistic Photography for Physicians PhotoArtMedica 2023. The winners are obliged to claim the prizes personally. It will also be a possibility to receive the prizes by post at the winner's expense.
11. Organizer reserves the right to unpaid reproduction of works for advertisement in the press and publications connected with the competition also in the post-competition exhibition catalogue.
Organizer reserves the right to present the post-competition exhibition in galleries in Poland and abroad.
12. Organizers reserves the right to change the Salon calendar dates.
13. The author of photographs submitted to participate in the Salon PhotoArtMedica 2023 declares that he took the photographs personally and is the sole owner of the copyright of the submitted photographs, he also states that these photographs do not violate the personal and material rights of third parties and that he has the consent of the persons depicted in the photographs to publish them image.
14. When the value of the prize will exceed PLN 760, from these prizes a flat-rate income tax of 10% will be collected and paid (Article 30 (1) (2) of the PIT Act). In this situation the organizer charges a tax on the entire prize.
15. Sending works onto the competition is tantamount to admission of conditions of the
present regulations.
